Au Revoir

Many are called, and many did came. June 30. Last day of the month. 44 employees from an unsolicited IT company came and conquered Max's Restaurant. A farewell lunch for Grace and Ned. Two employees who've decided to look for greener pasture and course-related works.
Hopee was the organizer of the occasion for the reason that Ned is (/was) was part of his team and Gracee was (/is) special to him in a way I'm not authorized to divulge. He came prepared for his part that he only started eating when everyone else were all served well and were all about to finish their chow.
Them came picture takings. Then laughters on every company rumors and jokes. Banging glasses in a furious way and in unison requesting for a kiss be delivered to the farewell girl via the prepared coordinator. More banging of glasses for anyone they wanted to give and get a kiss. Chanting every name they want to give a spontaneous speech and singing "happy birthday" to anyone who can pay the entire bill. And more laughters. Pictures of one big happy army of IT.

Hopee gave a farewell bid for the two ex-locals in behalf of the whole IT company. On Ned's farewell speech, he was hoping that all of us were happy, not because of him leaving, but because he and us were given the opportunity to share happy moments together. He told us about his new career path on showbusiness and promoted his upcoming show on channel 7 - "Sugo". Gracee's farewell speech was about her first months with the company and how she always drag her end of contract day to come as soon as possible; and how she regretted and could have wished otherwise now that she'd found new friends and reasons worth staying. She's moving back to her former (soon ex-former) company. Sorry, Hopee. Some good things never lasts.

On the new road they've chosen to travel, they might forget the path of works they've done for our (and their soon to be former) company but I'm hoping that they'll never forget us friends that came along their way.

Goodluck to the two of you and may you find friends like (or better than) us on your new career path. New friends who can give both of you more laughters. New friends who can give a better welcome treat like the one we've served you. Savor the menu. Lube your mind. 30.

Au revoir Grace and Ned. We'll miss you big time. J:D
